Chapter 1449 Finally Arriving At The Nether!
Lilly had expected to pass through the crack and arrive at the Nether easily. However, she was
surprised to find that the crack was a bit...
Despite the pain she was in, Lilly took out a large bucket filled with water from the ice pond and soaked
herself in it. The wounds on her body hurt even more, and she had no choice but to endure it.
After swallowing a few pills, her flesh and blood quickly regenerated and returned to their original state.
While soaking in the ice pond's water, Lilly examined it carefully and was once again amazed. "What
kind of tower is this? It's so powerful. It managed to persist for five minutes without disintegrating,
although its outer layer has somewhat disintegrated." Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
She put away the large bucket of ice pond water and changed into a new set of clothes. She didn't
know when she would be able to pass through this "crack," and it would be embarrassing if someone
happened to see her without any clothes on when she reached the other side of the door...
After much consideration, she decided to wear the outfit she had bought with Crawford Ancestor and
Cloud when they went shopping. The outfit resembled a colorful feathered costume, but it was made of
different materials and should be more durable than ordinary clothes.
At that moment, the tower began to shake violently.
Lilly felt delighted. Everything inside the black hole had been swallowed up when it was relatively
stable. The shaking indicated that the situation might improve!
Using her auramancy, she sensed that she was about to escape.
She immediately extended her spirit consciousness, but it was quickly devoured. However, since she
had been trying to extend her spirit consciousness outward, she keenly sensed that the force devouring
her spirit consciousness had weakened significantly. She was really about to escape!
With a loud boom, the tower finally couldn't hold on any longer and cracked open.
Lilly hesitated, knowing that losing the tower would be a huge loss. She also considered the possibility
of facing future crises where she might need it. Since she was able to hold out on her own for a few
minutes, she decided to take turns with the tower. She put it away and went outside.
It was still pitch dark, but she quickly realized that her spirit consciousness could extend outward. At
first, it only extended less than four inches, but with her persistent efforts, it gradually extended to one
and a half feet, then three feet, and eventually 30 feet...
A fierce wind blew around her, carrying sharp objects that she couldn't identify. Soon, Lilly was covered
in tattered clothes and blood. Fortunately, she was able to use her spirit consciousness as a protective
shield. Otherwise, her clothes would have been completely torn to pieces.
There was a faint light ahead of her. She quickened her pace and rushed over!
Soon, she sensed a completely different aura—an aura that did not exist in the Underworld or the
Human Realm. "It feels like nothingness... and the primeval times?" For some reason, it gave her a
sense of the primeval times, where there was nothing on the remote and ancient land.
Just then, everything around her was illuminated. Although it was darker here compared to the
Underworld and the Human Realm, there was more light here compared to the "black hole," and the
visibility here was better too.
The air was filled with the smell of death. The first thing Lilly saw was a gigantic skeleton that
resembled a dragon's skeleton. It was coiled in front of her, and she could even feel the pressure
emanating from it, causing her chest to tighten uncomfortably.
To prevent herself from being sucked into the "black hole" again, she quickly left the place. The tower
had cracked open, and a lot of it had disintegrated. She wasn't confident that she could survive if she
got sucked into the "black hole" again right now.
Only after Lilly left did she finally see the path she had just taken. In the distance, a towering gate
cracked open slightly. The place that had felt like a "black hole" was indeed a crack in a door. A
massive dragon skeleton coiled around this door crack as if guarding it.
"So, it really is a door crack. Is this the back door of the Nether?" Lilly felt confused. Blake had only
mentioned that there were nine heavens in the sky and nine floors in Hell, and that the deepest part of
Hell was the Nether. Could it be that she had just passed through the nine floors of Hell to arrive here?
If that was the case, going back would be extremely difficult.
She cautiously looked around, but she didn't sense the presence of anything else. She was about to
quickly change her clothes, which had already been torn to shreds. Then, she would call out her small
ghost beast and Speedy to ask if they knew anything about the Nether.
However, she didn't have the chance at all, as a dark silhouette suddenly flashed before her eyes.
Lilly felt a sharp pain in her cheek, and blood started to trickle from the wound. If she had been any
slower in dodging, she would have been beheaded. "Who is it?" she bellowed, releasing her spirit
consciousness completely!
Silence surrounded her. If it weren't for her powerful spirit consciousness, she wouldn't have noticed
the dark silhouette hiding in the distance. "It's the figure of a human... Are there human beings or
ghosts in the Nether too?"
Lilly held her breath, pretending not to have seen the dark silhouette, and turned around to warily look
elsewhere.
There was a rustling sound from another direction. Lilly felt a headache coming on. She hadn't figured
out what this dark silhouette was, and now another one had appeared. "No, it's not just one. There are
many of them!"
Within Lilly's spirit consciousness, she quickly realized that she was surrounded. Upon seeing those
things, she couldn't help but feel her scalp crawl...
