Chapter 1080 Come to His Door
Samson looked at Little Bunny and was quite surprised by her words. So he froze in place for quite a
while. Little Bunny felt a bit embarrassed being stared at by him. She said, "If it's not convenient, forget
about it."
"No," Samson quickly regained his composure, "I'll do my best."
"It's easy to keep her away from Mr Wold's bed, but it might be difficult to send her to another one. I got
to think away." Said he.
There were no medicine stores in this remote and impoverished place for them to get X pills. Thus it
was difficult to make two people willing to engage in a relationship.
"Please, I gotta get back in my seat."
"Don't get drunk, I'm afraid Mr Wold will kill me." Samson reminded.
"Don't worry, I am aware of my alcohol tolerance."
Little Bunny left. Samson also followed her out and watched their party while thinking about how to fulfil
her request.
Theodore was having dinner alone in his room. The homestay owner personally delivered it to his
room. The food was good. Theodore, however, was also indifferent to the taste of food. As long as he
thought of Little Bunny dressing up in a flashy manner before attending the party tonight, he felt cross.
He didn't even know when his possessiveness became so strong.
When Little Bunny left earlier, she was wearing a long skirt with a hemline to her ankles. It was quite
loose, now revealing much of her curves. And she had a scarf around her neck. But when she left,
Theodore almost asked her to change it. He wanted to hide her ankles, preferably all but her face.
Theodore was a little bit agitated since he felt that he was not like his former self now. He was being a
bit too petty and calculative. He thus looked down on himself. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
Just when Theodore was feeling extremely agitated, there was a sudden knock on the door.
Was Little Bunny back?!
He started thinking that this woman was not at ease leaving him alone. She must bear to leave him
here alone.
Theodore got up in a very good mood and went to open the door. Even though the door was not
locked, he still personally opened it for Little Bunny.
The woman standing at the door made his face change instantly. Caroline looked at him with a smile
and said, "Mr Wold, Little Bunny told me that you weren't feeling well and resting in your room, so I
bring some food for you."
Theodore glanced at her disinterestedly.
He asked blandly, "Where is Little Bunny?"
"She is still drinking at the party... I mean everyone is happy tonight celebrating that Little Bunny is no
longer being slandered by outsiders, so she can't leave." Caroline seemed to be explaining to Little
Bunny. She was just looking for an excuse to get closer to Theodore and gain his favour.
Theodore was annoyed. So it was not known how long Little Bunny would keep drinking.
"Can I come in?" Caroline asked while raising her hand full of food packages.
Theodore glanced over them and said, "I've had dinner."
"You can try again. The broker bought all these authentic local specialities here." Caroline said
cheerfully.
Theodore thought he didn't know when Little Bunny would come back either. He looked into Caroline's
package and saw some dishes he liked. So he nodded slightly in agreement with her offer to bring
them inside his room
Caroline happily placed the meal on Theodore's coffee table inside his room. She saw the utensils on
the table, which indicated that Theodore had already eaten something but not much yet,
"Mr Wold," she said as she began collecting everything up again before continuing, "Let me take care
of this first."
Theodore was used to being served by others so he didn't refuse this time either. He got up and went
into the bathroom quickly. Caroline quickly cleaned up all of their utensils before placing each dish one
by one properly onto the table. She poured him a beer too.
Seeing Theodore coming out of the bathroom, she began, "Mr Wold, there's only beer here."
"That's fine."
Compared to those expensive wines, he preferred beer because it gave him more satisfaction from
each sip. Suddenly he missed those days when he used to drink with Susan. Unfortunately, Susan had
gotten pregnant by Manuel now.
What a disappointment.
"If you don't mind, I could accompany you for two drinks. I can handle my alcohol pretty well too."
Caroline offered proactively.
"Sure." At this point, Theodore had sat down on the sofa. He let her sit next to him too without any
objections. Caroline felt triumphant as she smiled brightly beside him.
They were still maintaining a little distance.
She raised her glass and offered a toast, "Mr Wold, I have long admired your name and now that I see
you in person, it is truly an honour. Here's to you."
Theodore glanced at her and picked up his glass.
Caroline saw Theodore drain it all, secretly pleased that she got to succeed tonight. She quickly helped
Theodore pick up food and poured him more drinks.
He made Caroline drink with him. Caroline had a tolerance for alcohol and thus she didn't refuse.
At first, she was drinking with a bit of recklessness, since that was part of her plan too.
Feeling a bit dizzy after drinking, Caroline pretended to be drunk and then leaned towards Theodore.
Theodore turned around and glanced at her. Caroline's hazy gaze was fixed on him, filled with deep
affection. With her rich experience, she exuded such a demeanour that no man could resist.
"Mr Wold, I'm feeling dizzy. I feel so horrible..." she said in a flirtatious voice, which was like electricity
running through one's body. She never missed a shot.
Theodore just looked at her, whose face flushed and was full of desire. He used to take it for granted
when a woman made advances to him like this. At this moment, however, there was a somewhat
indescribable feeling of nausea inside him. He felt like the woman in front of him was greasy.
But he didn't push her away either.
"You can't drink anymore, go back first." Said he in an aloof voice.
Caroline was full of enthusiasm, but then she was suddenly doused with a bucket of cold water. She
couldn't even believe that Theodore would say such a thing. She thought Theodore was the kind of
man who slept with any woman.
How could he be so calm at a time like this?
