AFTER I AMAZED 50
Leo's POV:
I was restless. My attempts to reach Elizabeth had been futile.
She had moved out of her old apartment and refused to answer my calls.
It wasn't about love or caring, but about duty.
She was supposed to be at my side, fulfilling her role as Luna at this prestigious event.
Dalia, my sister, looked at me with pity.
"If Elizabeth won't forgive you, you might be alone forever."
I had once been ashamed to have Elizabeth as my Luna, especially among werewolves who
scrutinized her lack of a wolf.
I had preferred Aria, but now I miss Elizabeth terribly.
Aria clung to my arm, her presence a constant reminder of what I had lost.
When I pushed her away, her surprise was evident.
The Alpha of the Oceanheart Tribe Nicholas, who had been in the middle of a serious discussion with me, was visibly upset.
"Well Mr Leo, you know a lot of your actions might have some serious consequences" he said bitterly.
"Consequences, like? I questioned back
"I have heard you are quite at peace with the border situation these days. Never think that it's always going to be the same. There can be a lot of tension on the border "

This disgusted me beyond the core "so you will disrupt the peace? I got furious
To which he replied "if it is needed" He pointed with his eyes towards Aria.

I excused myself and headed to the hotel garden.
Among the flowers, I spotted a figure on a bench, moving rhythmically as if playing a
piano.
As I approached, I was taken aback to see Elizabeth, looking every bit like a vision from a dream.
Her beauty left me breathless.
"Elizabeth?" My voice was almost a whisper. She looked up, her eyes wary and distant.
"Leo," she replied, her voice steady but tinged with tension.
"I didn't expect to see you here," I said. "What are you doing?"
"I'm preparing for something'.. She said, her voice was calm but revealing her nerves. "I needed a moment to myself."
I was surprised to learn she was performing at such a high level.
I had assumed she had to go through extra work and deal with a lot of trouble just to make
some extra money.
"It must be exhausting," I said, trying to be sympathetic as I knew becoming my Luna would be a good way for her to avoid financial problems.
"I guess if you become my Luna again, you'll save yourself a lot of exhuastion."
know "Being Luna was exhausting too," she said, a sad laugh escaping her lips. "Do you what it was like to wake up early every day, prepare your breakfast, handle pack matters, and manage everything in our lives?" Her words hit me hard. I had been oblivious to the demands of her role, focused only on my own needs and status.
A waiter approached Elizabeth with a message.
She stood up, indicating we would continue this conversation later.

The grand piano gleamed under the soft lights, its polished surface reflecting the faces of the audience seated in the grand hall
The air was thick with anticipation, every rustle of fabric, every whispered word lost in the sea of silence that stretched before the first note.
I could feel the weight of their eyes on me, pressing down like a tangible force, but I steeled myself, my fingers poised above the keys.
is was my moment-a moment I had spent a lifetime waiting for.
As my fingers descended, the first notes rang out, delicate and clear, and the world around me faded.
The music enveloped me, flowing through my veins, guiding my every movement.
I was no longer aware of the hundreds of faces staring at me, nor the grandeur of the hall.
I was alone with the music, with the spirit of the composition that had long been my solace
and my escape.
But as the music swelled, I caught a glimpse of Aria in the crowd, her face twisted in a mixture of shock and disdain.
She stood abruptly, her chair scraping against the floor, the noise jarring against the serenity of the music.
"How can she be here?" she blurted out, her voice cutting through the stillness.

I went back inside, where the atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation.
The night continued with the guests mingling and celebrating.
I couldn't shake the feeling that I had lost something precious and irreplaceable.
Elizabeth's success was a testament to her strength and resilience, and I was left grappling
with the consequences of my actions.
he party was a whirlwind of conversation and celebration.
I watched from the sidelines, trying to process everything.
Orlando was about to reveal the biggest secret of losing his daughter, but I already knew
the outcome.
Everything seemed to be going on its own way and then there was me, totally lost in thoughts of how easily I had let go off a previous soul like Elizabeth
The audience fell silent. I strained to see, my heart pounding, when Elizabeth appeared under the spotlight, dressed to the nines in an exquisite gown.
I hadn't expected to feel her appearance on the stage like magic. This was such a dazzling
state.
She settled herself on the piano, her movements graceful yet filled with an air of intense
focus.
My breath caught as she drew a deep, calming breath.
And then, she played the first note...
The sound cut through the tension in the room, a pure, crystalline note that seemed to resonate with the very essence of her soul.
My eyes widened in shock, a wave of disbelief crashing over me.novelbin
