After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities

Chapter 861

Chapter 861

He wanted to hide it, but it was too late.

Casey wiped away her tears and said angrily, "The martial arts that our family practices has always had

a problem - chronic poisoning. Only the Healing Herb can cure it, but Healing Herb is hard to find...

We've only come across this one in so many years... And you took it away from us."

As he spoke, he became more and more upset and tears streamed down his face once again.

Sylvia looked at him and sighed, "Alright, I'll save one person. Two leaves of the plant are enough for

that. You can have the rest of the plant back. Take good care of it and you'll be able to breed more."

Everyone was stunned by her generosity.

Carmelo was the first to react, "What did you say?" She's giving it to us? How much do we owe you?"

Sylvia shook her head,"No need for money; I'm giving it to you."

Everyone was shocked.

"She's really giving it to us?"

"We're saved!"

"But she didn't ask for any money? Is she going to turn around and destroy our entire clan?"

The black-clothed people began whispering among themselves with half-belief.

They all thought Sylvia's behavior was too generous.

Casey finally stood up from the ground wiping away his tears as he looked at Sylvia skeptically.

He took a deep breath as he received the Healing Herb from Sylvia, still not believing what just

happened, "Are you really giving this to me?"

"Saving your family is my way of accumulating merit," Sylvia spoke calmly without any fluctuation in her

voice as if talking about drinking water or eating food instead of treating this valuable herb like

something worth millions, "I only need one use out of this herb; saving one person will suffice while

your entire clan can live on because of its effects. It's worth ten million dollars."

"Wow! There are still people like you who value their principles?" Casey felt dizzy with disbelief

wondering if he heard correctly, "Do you have some ulterior motive against our Blood Medical Sect?"

"I am already a doctor myself. What could I possibly want from your sect?" Sylvia couldn't be bothered

wasting time explaining herself any further. "Take it or not; it doesn't matter either way."

"I'll take it!" Casey protected the Healing Herb as if it were a precious treasure.

Carmelo's heart pounded, and he bowed deeply to Sylvia. "Miss, your generosity shames us. We will

remember this favor and repay it in the future."

The other black-clad men immediately followed suit, expressing their gratitude with utmost sincerity.

"Until we meet again." Sylvia nodded and turned to Franklin. "Let's go."

And so Jasper and his companions disappeared into the night."Fool! I forgot to ask her name!" Casey

shouted towards where Sylvia had vanished. "Kind stranger, may I know your name?"

But all that answered him was the rustling of the night wind.

The three of them quickly returned to the capital of H Rovirsa by helicopter.

Sylvia took a nap on board; she was quite tired.

In fact, when Casey led his men to attack earlier, she already knew they were from Blood Medical Sect.

She just never expected Casey to be such a crybaby!

She couldn't tell from their encounter at the auction house!

People really can't judge others by appearances alone.

Once they landed, fearing that the leaves of Healing Herb would wilt without proper care, Sylvia had

put some water mixed with preservatives in a small bottle for safekeeping. So when she delivered it to

Wright residence, the leaves were still fresh enough for use.

Without hesitation, she boiled it into medicine for Mrs. Wright to drink.

"After drinking this medicine," Sylvia explained while sitting onthe sofa next to Mrs. Wright, "the

damage caused by Abrus precatorius will slowly disappear until you are fully healed. Otherwise, you'll

continue experiencing symptoms that will greatly inconvenience your life and health."

Mrs. Wright looked at her gratefully. "Sylvia, thank you."

"We're family; no need for thanks," replied Sylvia with slightly tired eyes but an incredibly bright gaze

nonetheless.

"I cooked some pork ribs that you like; let's eat before you leave," said Mrs. Wright gently yet

affectionately. "I've been remembering many things lately, and I remember clearly when your mother

taught me how to cook these ribs."

As she spoke, Mrs. Wright became increasingly emotional until finally, she couldn't say anything more.

She lovingly gazed at Sylvia, reaching out her hand to tuck away stray strands of hair behind her ear.

"Your face looks very similar to your mother's."

"Never mind, let's just enjoy the moment. I never thought that after all these years, I could still have

your company," Mrs. Wright said as she got up and headed towards the kitchen. "She's much better

than that brat Brayden. It's nice to have a girl who knows how to take care of me! Jenna even changed

my bed sheets this morning, she's such a sweetheart."

"Well then, you should be nicer to Jenna," Sylvia said as she sat on the couch and held Franklin's This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

hand. "Can we go back to Aettosa tomorrow?"

Franklin looked at her tired face with concern in his eyes and asked, "Are you tired? We can wait a

couple of days before going back."

"I can't leave Hipps Family like this; it bothers me too much," Sylvia sighed. "I don't know why but I feel

like they're good people, especially since Mollie came begging for help."

Even though she knew the Hipps family was innocent, seeing them suffer made her heart ache.

She wasn't trying to be saintly; she just couldn't stand seeing good people being mistreated.

There were many good people in this world but there were also more bad ones.

If one didn't help those who suffered at the hands of bad people then evil would only grow stronger and

what would be the difference between her and someone who supported tyranny?

Franklin understood what was going through her mind and spoke in his deep voice while looking

lovingly into her eyes, saying, "I know; I understand."

Men had trouble controlling their emotions sometimes.

He gazed at her beautiful face with longing before wrapping his arms around her tightly.

Sylvia didn't say anything as he pressed his head against hers while holding onto him tightly.

His head buried deep within those locks of hair taking in familiar scents, saying, "You fool!"

Why did his woman have to spend so much money buying a plant when all it had were two leaves?

And now here she was foolishly trying to save the Hipps Family!

Sylvia buried herself deeper into Franklin's broad chest while he rested his forehead against hers

looking deeply into each other's eyes understanding each other without words being spoken between

them

Suddenly feeling overwhelmed by emotion, Sylvia bit down on her lip before speaking softly, "Why are

you staring at me like that?"

"Don't speak," Franklin replied gently, cupping Sylvia's face with one hand while looking deeply into

those complex emotions swirling within them both.

Sylvia stared back at him, feeling something caught in throat, unable to speak any further leaving

everything unspoken between them for now.

"Take your hand, accompany you through a thousand lives of madness. Deeply kiss your eyes,

accompany you through endless reincarnations." The man's thin lips lightly touched her lips and his

voice faded away with it.

But Sylvia heard every word he said loud and clear.

His big hand held onto her small one tightly, fingers intertwined.

He wanted to let her know that he would always be by her side on the path of life, in sickness and in

health, never leaving or abandoning her.

Before he could finish speaking though, Mrs. Wright came out from the kitchen with a hammering tone,

"Hurry up! Dinner is ready!"

The atmosphere shifted from intense affection to lightheartedness instantly.

Sylvia didn't feel embarrassed at all; she was happy being close to Franklin. She even tugged him

along, saying, "Let's go get dinner together."

As Sylvia ate familiar tasting pork ribs she felt like she had gone back in time to when she was younger

again.

"You cook really well; it tastes just like my mom's cooking."

After hearing that statement from Sylvia, Jenna felt her heart skip a beat upon.

It felt like her mother's cooking too. She remembered many things now.

She secretly looked towards Sylvia but quickly looked away again.

Her heart raced, beating loudly.

That feeling... it was strange beyond words. New chąpter avąilable oո

But she couldn't confirm anything yet; there wasn't enough evidence. Every time they ate pork ribs

when they were younger Sylvia would always pick out the best ones for Jenna...

While lost in thought about this matter suddenly a small piece of rib fell into Jenna's bowl without

warning!

She lifted up head surprised only to see Sylvia looking at her tenderly while holding onto another piece

of rib...

Sylvia picked it out especially for her!

Jenna almost blurted out 'sister' but managed not too because she didn't want ruin this harmonious

family gathering atmosphere.

However deep down inside herself, she really wanted to know if Sylvia and she were truly related by

blood...

This feeling tormented Jenna relentlessly, making it impossible for her to eat any more food on the

table right now.

At the dinner table, everyone was chatting and laughing, but Brayden quietly held her hand and asked

in a low voice, "Why do you look a little off?"

She shook her head. "Maybe we got tired from shopping this morning."

"Your body is still too weak. How can you give me babies if you get tired from just shopping?" Brayden

laughed heartily and couldn't help teasing her.

Her face immediately turned red with embarrassment as she glared at him playfully. "What are you

talking about?"

But it helped to ease the anxiety she had been feeling earlier.
