A Vengeful Girl

Chapter 294 A Running Nose

Chapter 294 A Running Nose

It was around 11 AM now. But none of them felt hungry. They just had breakfast about two hours ago.

Lily Jiang focused on her drawing. She remained silent, listening to the conversation between Sarah

Shen and Linda.

Linda patted Lily on the shoulder.

Lily immediately understood and gave Linda a knowing smile in response. After all, they had been

living together for a long time.

As spring was approaching, the weather began to warm up. But since it was the middle of March, it

was still chilly outside. Sarah Shen climbed out of the lake soaking wet. The cold wind chilled her to the

bone.

Linda almost failed to hold back her laughter when she saw Sarah Shen pretending to be all right, as

she tried not to shudder. In the world, there were only a few things as sweet as seeing your old enemy

miserable.

Sarah could have been spared from this. She was the Lady Shen from the powerful and well-known

Shen clan. Sarah owned everything a girl ever wanted like vast wealth, a fancy wardrobe, a fine

reputation, and a caring family who gave her everything she wanted. Why on earth was she willing to

be one of Amy's minions?

Maybe Sarah Shen didn't realize that her best friend had been taking advantage of her.

Although Sarah Shen was pretty young, she had already become the Deputy Director of the Public

Security Bureau. She led a life everybody dreamed.

Why couldn't she just cherish everything she owned? Why did she need Amy's affirmation?

Lily Jiang was sitting still, painting the beautiful landscape of the park. She found the scenery in front of

her to be way more beautiful than Sarah.

Linda once wondered whether people could get along with each other if there wasn't any conflict.

Why? Why was Sarah so hostile towards me?

Linda had never goaded her.

The first time they met, Bun had beaten her up. But that was because Sarah Shen picked on Linda.

Other than that, Linda never got in Sarah's way.

Speaking of Brian Ho, he was in love with Bun, not Sarah Shen. That's his own choice and Linda had

nothing to do with it. Sarah never understood that relationships couldn't be manipulated, so she always

thought Brian would fall in love with her if Bun disappeared.

Linda used to be too weak and too soft that she had tolerated people bullying her. From now on, she

wouldn't let them do anything to her. Linda was ready to fight back every time people picked on her.

Sarah Shen was shaking all over in her wet and heavy coat, chatting to Linda, while Linda was

snugged up in her warm overcoat, complete with mufflers and mittens.

Because of her pregnancy, Linda made sure to keep herself warm at all times, so she wouldn't come

down with the flu.

She was feeling all right in the chilly noon. Lily also put on a heavy coat before coming out.

As for Nelson Li, he was a strong man. He didn't mind the cold.

Sarah Shen wasn't feeling well. She was beginning to feel slightly feverish, having been wet in this

weather. But no one paid attention to her condition.

Sarah silently cursed, "Seriously? The stupid woman is still doing her stupid drawing? Why didn't

anyone care about me? I am the Lady Shen. Gosh, I am freezing." But she didn't have the nerve to say

it aloud because she knew they were all from the extremely powerful Nalan clan. She should avoid a

head-on conflict the Nalan clan.

All Sarah had to do was try to make friends with Linda. After Linda gave Sarah her full trust, Sarah

could avenge her best friend Amy Qi.

Other than that, she had nothing else to do since Brian Ho was too busy for her.

""Achoo!"

Sarah Shen began to sneeze. The servant with her took off her own coat and swished it around

Sarah's shoulder.

Sarah Shen had allergic rhinitis and it was triggered whenever she got cold. After a while, another

sneeze came.

"Where is my tissue packet?" The servant dug into her coat pocket for it.

Sarah's nose was running and she needed to blow her nose urgently. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

The servant searched all the pockets she had. The tissue was nowhere to be seen.

"My Lady, I forgot to bring it."

Her nose was itchy, and the snot almost came out. Sarah reprimanded, "How could you! All I asked of

you was to bring a packet of tissue and you forgot! You've known me for a long time, right? Have you

forgotten that I have allergic rhinitis?"

Sarah had to lean her head back as she shouted at the servant, or else the snot would come out. Linda

was amused by what she saw.

Actually, Linda had the habit of bringing tissue whenever she went out. For someone else, she would

be glad to offer it. But for Sarah Shen, the answer was definitely negative.

"I am so sorry, My Lady. I really forgot it. Why don't you ask them for some?" The servant answered in

a panic.

Sarah Shen always put a packet of tissue in her handbag because of her allergic rhinitis. But she didn't

bring her exclusive, precious handbag with her today because she didn't want it to get wet.

This was why she had the servant come with her and had the servant bring anything she needed.

But she didn't expect that the stupid servant could forget something so vital to her.

Sarah wanted to kill the servant now.

There were five bodyguards standing behind Linda. Nelson Li said something to one of them, and the

man left.

Nelson Li bent down and said, "My Lady, it's cold here. I had someone buy you some hot chocolate."

Linda nodded and exchanged a look with Nelson Li. She knew the man didn't leave for just some hot

chocolate.
